Welcome to the History of Medicine Library
The RACP History of Medicine Library collects material relating to Australian medical history. The collection features unique items such as archives, photographs, diaries, and correspondence that focus on the lives and work of Australasian medical pioneers and practitioners, as well as rare books, medical and surgical instruments and artworks dating back to the 16th century that are an excellent resource for exploring the history of medicine in Australia and beyond.
The library welcomes all Fellows of the College to peruse our collection, and members of the public may visit by appointment during opening hours.
